Book An Inspection Or Ask A Question

Phone is fastest. Photos help. A proper number still needs the car in front of us.

Phone

Call 03 6173 9825. We answer between 9am and 5pm, seven days a week. Phone is the fastest way to get a straight answer about whether what you want is possible, what it is likely to cost, and when we could fit it in.

What happens next

  1. A short conversation. What car, where it lives, how it gets washed, and what is actually bothering you about the paint. That usually narrows it to one or two sensible options.
  2. An inspection. We look at the clear coat under proper lighting, check thickness on older cars or anything with panel work, and identify what correction would take it to the standard you want.
  3. A written quote. Specific about what is included, how many correction stages, which coating and how many layers, and how long we need the car.
  4. The work. One to three days in most cases, with cure time built in. You get maintenance instructions when you collect it, and they matter.

Before you call, it helps to know

The biggest variable in your quote will be paint correction, not the coating. Reading the cost guide beforehand will make the conversation much shorter. If your main complaint is stone chips rather than dullness, have a look at paint protection film first, because a coating will not help you. If you are not sure which service you need at all, the services overview maps the problems to the fixes.

Where we come to

Greater Melbourne. The service areas page lists the suburbs we cover in detail, from Richmond and Toorak through to Glen Waverley, Essendon and Werribee. If your suburb is not on that list, it does not mean no — ring and check.

Hours

Anything we collect when you contact us is handled as described in our privacy policy, and the terms covering work we carry out are set out on the terms page. More background on how we operate is on the about page.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Can you give me a price over the phone?

We can give you a range, and we will be upfront that it is a range. The final number depends on how much paint correction your car needs, and that requires seeing the clear coat under proper lighting. Photos taken in open shade help narrow it down. Anyone who quotes a firm price sight-unseen is either padding it or planning to revise it.

How long will you need the car for?

One to three days for most coating jobs. A near-new car needing minimal correction with a single-layer coating can be a single long day. A swirled daily needing two-stage correction plus a multi-layer coating system and cure time will be closer to three. Paint protection film on a full front is typically two days on its own.

What information should I have ready when I call?

Make, model, year and colour; where the car is parked day to day; how it is normally washed; and what is bothering you about it. If you can, take photos in open shade and one in direct sun, which is where swirls show. That gives us enough to talk sensibly about options before you bring the car in.
